Double Digit NASDAQ Stock Winners: NURO, NVFY, ENDP

Following are major stock gainers on Nasdaq in Tuesday’s trading session:

NeuroMetrix, Inc. (NASDAQ:NURO) was the active stock gainer on Tuesday and soared 208% to $10.04 after the U.S. Food and Drug Administration gave a “Breakthrough Designation” to the biopharma’s Quell device for treating fibromyalgia in adults.

Under the FDA Breakthrough Device Program, the administration will provide NeuroMetrix with priority review and interactive communication regarding device development, through to commercialization. Quell is an advanced, non-invasive, nerve stimulation device that is covered by 18 U.S. utility patents, the company said.  The device is the only wearable neurostimulator that uses a custom designed microchip to provide high-power nerve stimulation in a form factor the size of a credit card, the company said.

Nova LifeStyle, Inc. (NASDAQ:NVFY) was another notable winner as the stock went up 37% to end the session at $4.49. The company announced, Diamond Sofa, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company, has successfully exhibited a new design line at the High Point Market furniture trade show June 5th thru 9th.

Endo International plc (NASDAQ:ENDP) surged 25% to $4.19. . The big jump came as investors anticipated that the company would reach a settlement with several Tennessee counties involved in an opioid-related lawsuit.

District Attorney General Barry Staubus told Tennessee News Channel 11 (WJHL) that Endo has extended an offer to settle the case. Jury selection was scheduled to begin in a few days. Officials in Greene, Sullivan, and Washington counties are expected to hold public meetings tomorrow to review the settlement offer.
