NEW YORK (Reuters) – Citigroup announced on Tuesday it is hiring Kate Moore as its new wealth division’s chief investment officer.
Moore is expected to join in February from BlackRock, where she was most recently portfolio manager and served as head of thematic strategy for the allocation business, according to a memo to employees signed by the head of Citigroup’s wealth division, Andy Sieg.
The executive has also been chief investment strategist for JPMorgan Chase’s private bank and held positions at Merrill Lynch and Morgan Stanley. She will replace Steven Wieting, interim CIO since David Bailin’s resignation last year.
