Alterity Therapeutics Limited (NASDAQ:ATHE) was the active stock gainer on Thursday . The stock soared 65% to close $2.14. The company announced the granting of a new composition of matter patent by the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). The patent secures a broad monopoly over a new class of iron chaperones, a technology capable of redistributing excess iron in the central nervous system. The structural backbone depicted in the patent provides the foundation for small molecule drug candidates with potential to cross the blood brain barrier and directly attack a source of neuropathology.
TRxADE HEALTH, Inc. (NASDAQ:MEDS) was another notable winner as the stock went up 62% to end the session at $1.17. Tthe company announced that Bonum Health, a Digital Healthcare business subsidiary has signed a Telemedicine Service Distribution Deal with Big Y Pharmacy and Wellness Centers within their supermarkets in Massachusetts and Connecticut.
Bonum Health will provide affordable telemedicine services to the patients of all Big Y pharmacies by offering Bonum Health’s signature Mobile Health Services and prescriber program, staffed by over 600 board-certified medical providers.
Auddia Inc. (NASDAQ:AUUD) surged 30% to $7.35. Earlier this week, the company announced the immediate availability of its flagship Auddia app in the AppStore. The Android version will be released later this week ahead of Lakes Media widely marketing the national launch of Auddia over the air commencing on July 5, 2021. The Company’s significant AI advancements that were recently announced now allow for it to expedite its full national launch and rollout ahead of its previous guidance.
