Double Digit NASDAQ Stock Winners: BCTX, CNST, UONE

Following are major stock gainers on Nasdaq in Wednesday’s trading session:
BriaCell Therapeutics Corp (NASDAQ: BCTX) was the active stock gainer on Wednesday. The stock soared 94.34% to close $6.18. The company provided an update on the overall survival (OS) data on its previously disclosed advanced breast cancer patients. These women were treated with BriaCell’s lead candidate Bria-IMT™ as monotherapy and also in combination with checkpoint inhibitors, including pembrolizumab (KEYTRUDA®; manufactured by Merck & Co., Inc.) and Incyte’s retifanlimab (manufactured and provided under a corporate collaboration with Incyte Corporation).
Constellation Pharmaceuticals, Inc (NASDAQ:CNST) was another notable winner as the stock went up 65.86% to end the session at $33.57.
It’s a meteor shower of billion-dollar deals for MorphoSys today. The cancer- and autoimmune-disease-focused biotech will buy Constellation Pharmaceuticals in a deal valued at $1.7 billion.
But that’s not all: MorphoSys has also inked a funding partnership with Royalty Pharma worth a staggering $1.425 billion upfront that will “anchor” the Constellation deal, MorphoSys CEO Jean-Paul Kress, M.D., told investors on a conference call early this morning.
Urban One (NASDAQ:UONE) surged 33.29% to $11.41 on Wednesday. following a City Council selected, in May, the media company’s proposed casino project in Richmond, Virginia. Shares of the Silver Spring, Md., radio broadcaster at last check rose 34% to $11.39. The stock has more than tripled year to date.
Last month, Urban One’s casino project was selected by a panel of city officials for approval. Bloomberg News reported that the City Council still needs to vote on the terms of the deal. If it’s approved, a referendum on the project will be held Nov. 2.
