Double Digit NASDAQ Stock Winners: BTBT, NCTY, FLGC

Bit Digital Inc (NASDAQ:BTBT) was the active stock gainer on Monday and soared 110% to $8.87 after Digihost Technology Inc. (TSXV: DGHI; OTCQB: HSSHF) (“Digihost”) and Bit Digital, Inc. (Nasdaq: BTBT) (“Bit Digital”) (together, the “Companies”) are pleased to announce that the Companies have entered into a second strategic co-mining agreement (the “Agreement”). Pursuant to the terms of the Agreement, Digihost will provide certain premises (the “Premises”) to Bit Digital for the operation of a 100 MW Bitcoin mining system (the “Miners”) to be delivered by Bit Digital for a term of two years.

The9 Limited (NASDAQ:NCTY) was another notable winner as the stock went up 54% to end the session at $13.40. The9 Limited (Nasdaq: NCTY) (“The9”), an established Internet company, today announced that it has signed a cryptocurrency mining hosting agreement with Russian company BitRiver (“BitRiver”) through its wholly-owned subsidiary NBTC Limited.

BitRiver, headquartered in Moscow, was established in 2017 to provide global hosting services and one-stop, turnkey solutions for large-scale cryptocurrency mining operations. BitRiver currently utilizes surplus hydroelectric power to operate data centers through low cost and sustainable renewable energy that offers hosting services for cryptocurrency mining in Russia and the CIS region. At present, the targeted data-center for The9’s mining machines has an initial total power supply capacity of 300MW which could be extended up to 500MW.

Flora Growth Corp (NASDAQ:FLGC) surged 49.67% to $4.52 after the company announce that following an extensive consultation process, the President of Colombia has accepted and signed into effect the revisions related to the existing Colombian cannabis laws. The reformed legislation is aimed at improving access to cannabis products for Colombians and positions Colombia as the leader to supply the global cannabis market.
