Double Digit NASDAQ Stock Winners: CXDC, ARCT, FLGC

Following are major stock gainers on Nasdaq in Tuesday’s trading session:

China XD Plastics Company Limited (NASDAQ:CXDC) was the active stock gainer on Tuesday and soared 152% to $0.93. In May, The company announced that as expected, it received a letter (the “Letter”) from the Listing Qualifications Department of the Nasdaq Stock Market (“Nasdaq”) notifying the Company that it was not in compliance with requirements of Nasdaq Listing Rule 5250(c)(1) as a result of not having timely filed its Quarterly Report on Form 10-Q for the quarterly period ended March 31, 2021 (the “Form 10-Q”) and because the Company has not yet filed its Annual Report on Form 10-K for the fiscal year ended December 31, 2020 (the “Form 10-K”).

Arcturus Therapeutics Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ:ARCT) was another notable winner as the stock went up 68% to end the session at $58.25 after the company announced that Singapore regulators approved the advancement of two messenger RNA COVID-19 vaccine candidates into phase 1/2 clinical testing.

The Singapore Health Sciences Authority gave the green light for Arcturus to initiate a phase 1/2 clinical trial featuring mRNA vaccine candidates ARCT-154 and ARCT-165. This study will evaluate these candidates as primary vaccines and as boosters following initial vaccination with Comirnaty, the COVID-19 vaccine developed by Pfizer and BioNTech.
