Orbital Energy Group (NASDAQ: OEG) was the active stock gainer on Tuesday. The stock soared 115.21% to close $7.64. The company announced that its recently acquired subsidiary, Gibson Technical Services (“GTS”), has been awarded a project for approximately 700-miles of engineering and construction turnkey services across Central Mississippi (the “Project”) to be completed over the next four years for TEC of Jackson, Inc., dba: TEC (“TEC”).
GTS began the first engineering phase of the Project in April 2021 with construction slated to start in June 2021.
ENGlobal Corporation (NASDAQ:ENG) was another notable winner as the stock went up 40.62% to end the session at $3.60 after hitting a session high of $3.81. The stock saw a lower than average volume with more than 25.23 million shares traded for the session- compared to its average volume of 925K shares.
ENGlobal Corporation provides engineering and automation services primarily to the energy sector in the United States and internationally. It operates through two segments, EPCM and Automation. The EPCM segment provides multi-disciplined engineering services relating to the development, management, and execution of projects requiring professional engineering and related project management services.
Aethlon Medical (NASDAQ:AEMD) surged 34.50% to $2.34 on Tuesday. Last month, Aethlon Medical (NASDAQ:AEMD) has implemented measures to enhance its financial flexibility (see below) in order to advance its clinical studies and move the Hemopurifier towards potential regulatory approval and commercialization. The company has two clinical studies of the Hemopurifier underway. One study is of patients with head and neck cancer exploring the impact of clinical depletion of exosomes using the Aethlon Hemopurifier along with standard of care treatment, Keytruda.
