Double Digit NASDAQ Stock Winners: VPRX, ALF, MNDY

Following are major stock gainers on Nasdaq in Tuesday’s trading session:

Virpax Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ:VPRX) was the active stock gainer on Tuesday and soared 265% to $15.35 after the company announced that it received a written pre-investigational new drug response from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for MMS019.

MMS019 is Virpax Pharmaceuticals patented and proprietary high-density molecular masking spray under development for use as an anti-viral barrier product. The company said it believes the results of the pre-investigational new drug response support further research on MMS019 as an intranasal protective that may limit transmission of the viruses to others.

Alfi, Inc. (NASDAQ:ALF) was another notable winner as the stock went up 40% to end the session at $10.14. ALFI Inc (NASDAQ: ALF) has launched intelligent tablets directly to drivers who opted into a rideshare program in 13 significant additional markets as planned.

The initiative marks the ramp-up of Alfi revenues and partnership with independently contracted Uber Technologies (NYSE: UBER) and Lyft Inc (NASDAQ: LYFT) drivers in Miami, Florida, providing an additional revenue stream while enhancing the passenger experience at no cost.

Monday.com Ltd. (NASDAQ:MNDY) surged 24.50% to $305 after the work-management software provider announced strong second-quarter results. Monday.com’s revenue rocketed 94% year over year to $70.6 million. The gains were fueled by new customer wins and higher sales to existing clients, as evidenced by its sterling net dollar retention rate for customers with more than 10 users of over 125%.

“We are pleased with the momentum in our business that demonstrates continued high growth at scale,” co-CEO Roy Mann said in a press release.

Better still, Monday.com is making progress toward achieving profitability. The company’s adjusted operating loss improved to $9.9 million, compared to a loss of $14.9 million in the prior-year period. Its adjusted net loss per share, in turn, narrowed to $0.26 from $0.39 in the year-ago quarter.
