Lufthansa wins court fight against Frankfurt Hahn aid benefiting Ryanair

BRUSSELS (Reuters) – Europe’s second-highest court on Wednesday backed Lufthansa’s challenge against EU-approved state aid for Frankfurt’s Hahn airport which benefitted its rival Ryanair.

The Luxembourg-based General Court annulled the European Commission’s 2017 decision.

The case is T-218/18 Deutsche Lufthansa v Commission.
