Malaysia lifts block on Grok AI after X implements safety measures

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 23 (Reuters) – ⁠Malaysia has restored access ⁠to Grok for its users after social ⁠media platform X ‍implemented additional ‌safety measures, its communications regulator said ​on Friday.

Malaysia ⁠this month ‌temporarily blocked access ‌to Grok amid ⁠a global backlash against a feature of the ⁠artificial intelligence ‍chatbot that allowed users to create and ‌publish ‌sexualised images ​of others.
