360 DigiTech Inc (NASDAQ: QFIN) reported Q2 results. Co’s revs increased +19.8% yr/yr to RMB4.0 billion. Financial institutions originated RMB88.5 billion loans through co’s platform, up +50% yr/yr. Co stated that it is continuing to experience strong customer demand as it enters the second half of the year. Co’s board has approved a share repurchase program up to US$200 million. The stock jumped 14.60% to $19.37.
Zhihu Inc – ADR (NYSE: ZH) outperforms on moderately elevated volume, recovering from a decline of approx. 15% netted over about the last week. Co earlier this week reported upside Q2 EPS and revs and issued upside Q3 revs guidance.
Amyris Inc (NASDAQ: AMRS) announced “promising” in-vivo results from a study of its licensed RNA vaccine through intranasal delivery; results indicated that the vaccine, when delivered via intranasal administration, generates antibodies and provides upper respiratory protection for SARS-CoV-2.
