EBITDA was $(24.5) mln vs $(38.0) mln in the prior-year period. Retail segment gross comparable store sales increased +49.8%, with comparable textbook sales up +21.9% vs a 10.1% decline in the prior-year period. Co viewed its Q1 results as a “positive harbinger” for the fall semester ahead of the return of most schools to traditional on-campus environments; co expects to generate positive non-GAAP adj. EBITDA in FY22.
